Ermenegildo Zegna Group Sees 10.3% Revenue Surge, Driven by American Expansion
Ermenegildo Zegna Group delivered a robust second-quarter performance, reporting a 10.3% year-on-year revenue increase to €517.1 million, signaling continued momentum across its luxury brand portfolio, including Zegna and Thom Browne.
Group Revenue Reaches €987.3 Million for First Half
For the first six months of 2026, the group’s total revenue climbed to €987.3 million, representing a 6.4% growth compared to the previous year. “I am particularly proud to report double-digit growth in the group’s revenues in the past quarter, with sequential acceleration across all brands,” stated Ermenegildo “Gildo” Zegna, executive chair of the group. This strategic shift underscores a client-centric approach, exemplified by the recent Villa Zegna event in Los Angeles – a milestone that further solidified brand engagement.
Zegna itself spearheaded the growth, achieving a remarkable 16.9% increase in revenue to €324.3 million, fueled by a significant boost in direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales across all regions. Tom Ford Fashion followed closely, rising 4.5% to €89.1 million, propelled by positive reception to Haider Ackermann’s Spring/Summer collection. Thom Browne, however, remained relatively flat at €64.9 million, as the brand continues a deliberate recalibration of its wholesale channel.

Regional Performance Highlights
The Americas emerged as the primary driver, contributing a 20% revenue surge to €165.3 million. Greater China followed with a 12.2% increase to €112 million, while the rest of Asia-Pacific experienced an 11.5% growth to €62.1 million. EMEA, unfortunately, lagged behind, with revenues increasing only 1.3% to €177.1 million – a result largely attributed to a challenging wholesale performance, though the Middle East showed positive signs.
Gildo Zegna emphasized the group’s strategic prioritization of the DTC model, noting a 16.4% increase in DTC sales compared to the 9.8% decline in wholesale revenue during the second quarter. The Villa Zegna LA location, the group’s most substantial retail investment to date, served as a key demonstration of this commitment to the US market and a continuation of the experiential pop-up series, having previously hosted events in Shanghai, New York, Miami, and beyond. “As we move through the rest of the year, we remain determined and disciplined to invest in the right priorities to deliver on our ambitions,” Zegna concluded, highlighting a continued focus on strategic growth initiatives.
