After 24 episodes, fans of the global phenomenon Heartstopper are waving goodbye to Nick and Charlie's love story with a feature-length film now streaming on Netflix.

Stepping onto the set of Heartstopper Forever, it's easy to get swept up in the chaos of a school party scene. The heavy bass of music reverberates through the location house, as fairy lights flicker overhead and laughter echoes around the room. Amidst the warm, chaotic energy, I'm reminded of a late-night house party, but it's actually a sunny Wednesday afternoon in July on the Bray Studios lot just outside of London.

According to lead actors Kit Connor and Joe Locke, the show's impact on its cast has been profound. 'It was a miracle we were even able to make it,' Connor reflects on the rarity of shows celebrating queer joy so unapologetically. Heartstopper's first season was viewed for more than 14.5 million hours in its first week, reaching the top 10 chart in 54 countries.

Rather than a fourth season, the story concludes on a bigger canvas. Heartstopper Forever gives Nick and Charlie the send-off they deserve, and for the first time, Connor and Locke serve as executive producers.
