Peaky blinders spin-off series announced for netflix and bbc
Just days after the release of Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, showrunner Steven Knight has confirmed there's more Peaky Blinders on the way. In October 2025, a two-season spin-off series is set to premiere on Netflix and BBC, with each season consisting of six episodes.

What we know about the peaky blinders sequel series so far
According to Knight, the new series will pick up in the 1950s, set in post-war Birmingham as the city rebuilds from the Blitz. The official synopsis teases a brutal contest for control over Birmingham's reconstruction, with the Shelby family at its center.
While the full cast hasn't been confirmed, Barry Keoghan's character Duke will return in some form. However, given the decade-long time jump, it's likely Duke will be portrayed by a different actor. The main Shelby family members are dead, leaving room for a new generation to take the reins.
Netflix and BBC are teaming up to co-produce the series, which is likely to air sometime after the 2025 premiere date. Fans will have plenty of time to rewatch the original series on Netflix before the spin-off drops.
