Tallulah Willis Marries Justin Acee in Custom Balenciaga Couture

Writer, artist, and advocate Tallulah Willis married musician Justin Acee on Saturday, August 8th, in a ceremony in Sun Valley, Idaho. Vogue accompanied her to a final wedding dress fitting just days prior at the Chateau Marmont.

Custom Couture Creation

The bride’s stunning strapless column dress, designed by Balenciaga creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli, was crafted from silk satin and silk organza, featuring a draped train and a bow. The intricate hand embroidery, completed by artisans at the Balenciaga atelier, took 712 hours, including 405 hours of construction and 9 hours for the veil.

Tallulah collaborated with her mother, Demi Moore’s, longtime stylist Brad Goreski to gather inspiration for the couture team. “Being able to put together things that I like, and working together with Brad too on that, and walking in the room and seeing all of these things come to life, and then also knowing it was for me, was such a beautiful moment,” Tallulah shared. Family members encouraged her to view the finished dress, resulting in a spontaneous eruption of applause.

The dress’s neckline was inspired by a Balenciaga look Demi Moore wore to the Vanity Fair Oscar party. The bow was a specific request from Pierpaolo Piccioli, envisioned as a ‘package being unwrapped.’ Friends and family remarked that the veil transformed Tallulah into a ‘movie star goddess.’
