Jaeger-lecoultre's master control chronometre makes a bold statement

Swiss watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre has long been renowned for its technically brilliant timepieces, with over 1,400 calibres and 430 patents under its belt. Now, the brand is making a deliberate design statement with the launch of its Master Control Chronometre collection.

Three new models sport a fully integrated metal bracelet.

The Master Control Chronometre Date, Date Power Reserve, and Perpetual Calendar each feature a sleek, modern design that still nods to the brand's heritage. The three-row bracelet construction, with polished prisms and V-shaped bevels, echoes the slim Dauphine hands and faceted indexes on the dials.

The standout model is likely the Date Power Reserve, housed in a 39mm steel case just 9.2mm thick. Its azure-finished dial pays tribute to the 1951 Futurematic, with two symmetrical sub-dials on the 9-to-3 axis displaying power reserve and date.

Each model meets JLC's High Precision Guarantee, which involves rigorous testing simulating daily wear conditions. The HPG seal is engraved on the case backs, serving as a discreet reminder of the serious engineering under the hood.
