Actor Henry Winkler, best known for his iconic role as the Fonz on Happy Days, has expressed his desire to leave the glamour of Hollywood behind and live the ranch life. The 80-year-old star recently told a reporter from PauseRewind that he would drop everything to join a Taylor Sheridan series, perhaps even on the Dutton Ranch from Yellowstone.

When asked about his admiration for Sheridan's work, Winkler exclaimed, "I would leave here right now and go and get on that horse." Although he admitted that his riding skills are a bit rusty, as he used to be able to ride but isn't sure his thighs could handle it anymore.

This isn't the first time Winkler has shared a humorous anecdote about his on-set mishaps. During his time on Happy Days, he famously attempted to ride a motorcycle for the first and only time. Despite being told it was just a short distance, Winkler, who is dyslexic, ended up ramming into a sound truck, nearly injuring the director of photography. After that, he was never allowed to ride a motorcycle again and instead used a board on wheels for the remainder of the series.

Perhaps Winkler would fare better on the slower pace of a ranch, à la Sam Elliott's character in Landman. Just as long as he keeps a safe distance from motorcycles, fans would love to see him trade in his leather jacket for cowboy attire and boots.
